About CursorXP

Cursor resets everytime my computer restarts...

This is one of the most annoying things ever, having to change the cursor every single time you log into Windows. Why doesn't the cursor load up by itself just like WindowBlind or Objectdock?
Any solutions that it's NOT putting the CursorXP file in the start up folder (annoying little window would pop up everytime). Thanks!

Try reinstalling CursorXP, maybe you had a bad install. it's not in my Startup folder and it's always worked fine.
Other than that, no idea. :)

Here's another one of those problems people have that seemed to isolated. Have never had a problem with CursorXP, CursorXP Plus and now CursorFX Plus loading on start up as the other products do. Explain how you are selecting and appling the cursor?  :NOTSURE:

Really? Well, I always start up with the default Windows XP cursor and have to go Start > All Programs > Stardock CursorXP > Configure everytime.

You shouldn't have to do that. Use Theme Manager, select CursorXP, pick a cursor and apply. It will remain that until you change it.

you have the 'run at start checked' in CXP's configure window?

I don't see that option anywhere. Where is it? Under what tab?

There isn't one.

Open your Mouse properties in Control Panel and under your mouse themes tab check: none. Apply. Under CursorXP tab, pick your theme. Apply.

You shouldn't have to do that. Use Theme Manager

I've never used Theme Manager, for anything, and never had CXP fail to run at startup (if active).

add a shortcut to cursorXP into your startup folder. i had the same problem even though run on windows start was checked it never did. adding the shortcut in my startup folder worked fine. on XP that is in c/documents and settings/owner/start menu/programs/startup. hope that works for you. adding the shortcut is your only option if nothing else works.

one other thing, after adding the shortcut and that annoying window pops up.... hit the esc key to get rid of it, once you do that it will never come back :)
