this game is going really good.


the pathing has been fixed.

i rarely have to drop my taxes but once in the game. all other empires are willing to trade with me. at first just all or most of their tech, research treaty, and colonies that don't much built on them except for a star port.


so i am able to double my empire in size and colonies each time i talk to each of the major AIs. and am able to increase my research with all AIs.


i have been assuming that the techs with * is a tech that i cannot use so i don't trade for those.

but the AI is only to happy for me to give them my tech that they cannot use.


the only other thing is that when i go in the hole. it no longer comes back up to -2000. but that is OK that is when i trade for cash instead of tech usually.

sorry i forgot it seems that the auto fleet command does not work with the first two ships.

If I remember the release notes correctly, * only means that this is a tech unique to that race. You can still use it if you trade for it. Techs that are unusable by other races shouldn't be tradeable at all.

That only happens on lower diffculties. Above normal (IIRC) if you go into debt, you've got to get out the hard way.

Well, as far as I noticed, I haven't had even a single ctd yet form beta 3b to 3d. Stardock did an amazing job, considering manpower and time. Very impressive so far.
The only issue is still the disappearing Turn-Button... I think, the problem has multiple issues. First one with autoimprove function for spaceminers, which got fixed I think.
But the second one has something to do with the attack code targeting orbiting ships, I think. Maybe else with especially arceans first strike ability, only appearing when their ships have been equiped with the new support modules. It may apply for some other races too?
Generally, when the button disappears, saving and reloading work for me, however as I read not for everybody.
There also still seems to be an issue with the movement point for ships, which also produces a gone Turn-Button.
PS: I found several issues in the xml files, given you use a stanard xml reader class, there are a lot of illegal characters as well as some malformed tags in customplanets, iirc it's the [rawterrain][/rawtexture] tag, but this has already been reported.
