Can't install

HELP!

I bought Galactic Civilizations 2: Dread Lords about a year ago. I played it for awhile on my computer then uninstalled it. I have recently had a craving to conquer the galaxy, so I have been trying to re-install it. But for some reason I can not install. I begin the installation process and everything goes fine, until it hits 40%. There is a file being installed that has the word trade in it. I am just wondering how I can fix this problem. Please help, ASAP. Oh, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

the file it stops on is C:\Program Files\GalCiv\movies\0_trade01.bik .
Now I changed the path to GalCiv from GalCiv2. I was thinking it was just the folder ti was going to which was giving me the problem.

you probably have a scratched CD.

You should be able to install it through Stardock Central without using the cd.
