Skin of the Year 2007 Polls: Xion

Through to the end of the year, we will be posting a new poll every 1-3 days asking you to vote on your favorite skin from a particular gallery.  Last week I asked for nominations and received over 100 unique skin and 13 skinner nominations for these polls.  For the full nominations list, go here.

Today, we are voting on Xion Skins.  You have until end of day Wednesday to cast your vote.  After that, the poll will automatically switch to the next category: Sysmetrix

IMO I like ZuKidzRadio. why? while the others are shiny nice and gleaming example's of Skinning. Zubs skin embodies a larger concept which is the root of skinning, "Deviating from the norm". His bold approach not only embraced breaking away from main stream Gloss skins, but targeted an audience who seem at times to be left out of the main stream, kids. IMO ZuKidsRadio is a full representation of what skinning means...

The idea was great . . the execution  . . well .. could have been better.  But it was my best work at the time.

As an illustration of how any idiot can make a Xion skin . . it's spot on.

masterpieces arent always intended to be masterpieces when created... they are deemed as such, when they are read in to as for what they convey to the viewer, a simple bowl of fruit can invoke emotion from its audience....ZuKidsRadio speaks volumes. to me ..

cause the link might point in the last poll direction, so sysmetrix but when you are there you can click on the link to see the xion one on the left part of the poll panel ;)
