Can't get the program to work in Vista

Just did a fresh install of all of galciv2 including twilight. Launcher won't run (immediately crashes). I tried compatibility modes, nothing helped.

Running vista ultimate.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Some antivirus programs may interfere with the launcher, so first thing to try would be to temporarily disable any of those and see if it makes a difference.

The simplest solution though (if you don't want to waste time troubleshooting) is to just make shortcuts directly to the game exes themselves and not use the launcher.
