Changing the vista sprite animations???

Hi everyone,
Usually when you open up like my computer and you are waiting for the information to populate from the system, you get that ugly 1990 flash light sprite moving back and forth. Is there anyway to change that animation with something more eyecandy?
Plus when you do the copy/move procedure, it does the smooth aero windows copy animation.. Is there anyway to change that as well?
