Mouse button 4 and 5 not working on secondary

I got multiplicty Pro 1.2 and I am generally happy with it.

However, I noticed that mouse button 4 and 5 doesn't work on secondary computer. Anyone know of a version which has this working?

Are you using a third-party mouse config app?  I don't know if it will matter . . but it might.
What mouse are you using?

Ok, downloaded and it is working on my two main computers. :)

Anyway to download this program without requiring SDC installed?

Thanks for the help!

Nope sorry. The updates all go through that channel. Only full build updates (like going to 2.0 or something) will be posted by other means.

Glad it is working though. Have a good holiday!

Hmm, where is this beta build located? I downloaded the Stardock Central app and I only see the 1.00 build under the ThinkDesk category.

I downloaded the 1.2 Trial you guys have available form the normal website and I'm generally pretty happy with it, except for this issue with the 4th and 5th button not registering on the 2nd computer.

If that were to work I would support ya'll and buy the full version, but without it it's rather frustrating to use.

Also of note if you care -- there seems to be a funny passing of data on the second keyboard, or at least there is in World of Warcraft.

I have the numlock key designated as my autorun key in WoW. i.e. if I'm on my primary screen and I hit numlock, my character starts or stops moving. If I am on my second screen and I hit num lock, BOTH my characters start/stop running. I don't know if this is something intrinsic to the way WoW handles the numlock key or what, but thought I may as well pass it on.

Also perhaps relatedly, occasionally while moving my character around with the movement keys and switching screens, a key can get "stuck" until i bring the cursor back to screen in question and press the key again. i.e. holding down "w" then switching to the next screen leaves the "w" key triggered on the first screen until I return to the first screen and hit the "w" again. Also only happens in WoW, but again something I thought I'd pass on for the sake of yer alls knowledge (since this program has started to hit the WoW forums as a useful app to dual box accounts).

The trial is slightly older which is why it does not support the 4th and 5th buttons.  We should be updating the trial once we release 1.21 as a non beta to our customers which should hopefully happen in the next few weeks.

Numlock, capslock and scroll lock are special keys due to having LEDs and so pressing them even when controlling the secondary will cause the app on the primary to also see them.  You can disable the syncing of LED lights by right clicking the MP icon on the primary and using the options in the advanced user settings dialog.

The keys getting stuck when switching should be resolved in 1.21 too.

thanks for the tip, I hadn't realized that the advanced user settings were different from the advanced configuration tab. Works much better now ^_^

And great news on the new release. Looking forward to it!

1.21 is now available. The trial might not be updated but Stardock Central has the new version now.
