I've seen this as well. In one game every planet was filled with miners and very few fighters. This occurred until someone declaried war on them, then they started pumping out the attack ships.

Check out my Starport Full bug on beta report forums, yet another bug Stardock has failed to respond to. As great as the game is there communication with us beta testers is woeful currently.

With Respect Lenius, you can't expect Stardoc to support a Beta the way they would a full release. The point of a Beta is to identify bugs, which they will then investigae prioritize and fix. Most games have a single if any public Beta and it's only when the final game comes out you find out if a bug you reported has yet been fixed.

Stardoc don't need to respond on the forum to every Beta bug report.

If your happy with Stardock great. But I'm not, if I'm going to spend my valuable time posting about bugs and flaws with the game then I expect more feedback via the beta forums. Perhaps i'm expecting too much but I feel Stardock should be responding more than they are.

I don't think i'll be posting any more bugs on the forums, I've no idea if Stardock knows about certain bugs or how much they read and act on the posts in this forum. The pinned posts which were giving us beta testers info havn't been updated in weeks. Its very annoying when you post a bug, get no response then 3betas down the line it's still there.

Why don't you just wait until the final release then, you obviously don't want to help out with the beta.

I've posted a load of bugs whether that has helped I dont know thats the problem. It seems you can't raise a concern on this forum without a fanboy making a lazy comment. Are you worried there not going to release TA just because of some tiny criticism, is that it? Is Stardock so perfect they can't do anything more than there already doing in your opinion?

The updated bugs list hasn't been updated since 28th Nov. Would it really be that outrageous for them to update it once or twice a week so we know whats going on. Is asking them to do that morally reprehensible.

TA is brilliant so far I just wish theyd give us beta testers some more feedback on whats going on, no more no less.

Yes then obviously I think your not suited for taking part in the Beta test, and no I'm not worried are concerned about what you have to say I just disagreed with you so I said so.

And honestly, yes as a software developer myself I think they're doing a great deal in a pretty short space of time, infact I am always suprised how quickly they get things done with the quality they do. I imagine they're busy fixing the bugs instead of chatting to you about them.

Asking them to update the bug lists is not a problem acting like they have an obligation to though isn't true and myself I don't think it should be their priority at the moment.

Wow you really can't criticise anything on here. I feel some of the responses from bonscott and danielost are both very childish and unnnescecarily petty for no good reason.

I havn't demanded anything. I've spent my money on this game and I have a right to air my opinion on its progress whether it's in beta stage or not. I personally feel if the beta forums were better utilized by Stardock it might actually speed up the removal of bugs in the game.

There are at least 3 seperate threads for this one bug now probably a sign of Stardocks lack of involvement imo. Theres little point in me saying anymore if anyone agrees with me they havn't responded yet. If you all think Stardocks amount of response is ok then fine I respect your opinions, it would be nice if you respected mine too. I've shared my opinions i'll leave it at that.

Econundrum is pretty spot on. The devs are busy working on the game, rather than replying to everything, though they do comment when they can if they need more details or happen upon a thread for something they've fixed.

And the reported bugs thread is edited every Monday, excepting over the holidays, with recently reported issues (I do recall adding this particular issue when it was first reported). Just because Cari hasn't had the opportunity to add a new reply with stuff that she's fixed doesn't mean we're not watching.
