Download Time - Just Wondering

Hi. Just bought the beta, but it seems like it's taking too long to download. It downloads, but then begins to download again once it is finished. It just seems to keep starting over. Are there that many files, or is there an issue with downloading through SDC?

Check the 'show prerelease versions' box at the bottom of SDC, then try it.

Perhaps you guys could help me out here. I have tried refreshing Stardock Central, double checked to made sure 'show prerelease versions' was checked, refreshed it again and still all it shows is 0.91[b].001. The line is as follows:

Name ______________________________ Installed ___ Available ____ Updated
Twilight of the Arnor (Expansion Pack) ____ 0.91[b].001 ____ -------- ____ 12/6/2007

And I can't figure out what's wrong with it. Any help would be appricated.

Moosh, you might just need to refresh your XML data in SDC. On the Tools menu, click Settings. In left pane of the Stardock Central Settings dialog box, click Internet, and then click the Refresh XML Data button.

That's gotten me out of similar-sounding situations in the past.

Hey, Kryo. I already had that box checked, and it's still downloading even now. I've left it running since my original post, and it's STILL downloading 092[b]004 over and over. I've disabled my antivirus/firewall software and this is still going on. The download manager reads, "Downloading gc2_Twilight.sdc".

I had the same problem with my download...But then i read at the forums that someone had solved it by downloading and reinstalling Stardock Central. That worked for me:)
