Wow! It's amazing how destructive freezing rain can be.  (:(  You have enough to worry about during the summer, being center of tornado alley, sorry that you have to deal with this too. This storm dumped snow and ice on us in the Pacific Northwest, it's still packing a nasty punch. Did you lose power too?

Wow.
You all have power?  Blankets? Fireplace? (looks like you'll have firewood. ;))

Looks like you got a lot of work ahead of you.

I lived just outside of OKC for a few years. In those years, it snowed ONCE. It was only about an inch but everything closed down for the day. Ice storms are something else though, it makes everything really pretty until the weight brings it all crashing down.

We've got around 600,000 Customers...not people, without power! All Tulsa area hospitals were running on auxilary power so the power company had to make them their first priority. I got lucky, I live really close to one so my power came back on last night (Monday) after being off since Saturday. However, they are saying that they'll have 80-90% back on by Dec. 18th hopefully.

That's pretty bad, RFX. Hope you get things fixed soon. These ice storms are pretty destructive. We've had a lot of snow in Colorado but we've been lucky so far with not too much damage or disruption. Take care  :)

An ice storm is hell on southern cities...their just not prepared for it.

Bowie Texas,,3 days,no heat,no lights. X-( Now I'm in Colorado Springs...nothing shuts down unless theres a blizzard pretty much.

Leo above me is about 70 miles north of me...he gets it worse usually. ;)
