Confused about multiple docks

ObjectDock

How do I create multiple docks and save them and just have one open at a time? I can only seem to multiple ones at the same time. When I open ObjectDock, my current dock opens. But I want to create a new one and keep that current one as is so I can use it later. I can't find any documentation on this.  :d

That feature is not supported.  It's all or nothing right now.

Any chance that this could be a feature?

create one dock > go to Object Dock Settings > Themes Tab > under "Backup" click "Save Current Dock" > give it a name like Dock 1 or something.........

back to Dock Settings > My Docks > create new..... > delete first dock > get the new one like you want and repeat above steps but name it Dock 2 or something.......

repeat process until all individual docks are created and saved, then use "Load Previous dock......" to switch back and forth among them....... ;p

Doh!
Nice work-around.
Can you load multiple docks using that method?  Can I load docks 1 and 3 for example?  Then load dock2 when I need to use that?

Geez folks, if all else fails, use auto-hide!

Lets say you have 4 docks total. If you create them all together you could then save a them with all four, delete #4 and save that theme, delete #3 and save that theme.......do that for all possible permutations and yes then you could....however I think cplair's idea works best of all ;p

Thanks, Lantec. I thought I could save each version but wasn't sure if it would work. I tried saving something in the past and it didn't seem to work but I'll try this and see if it works. I thought about auto-hiding a dock but would rather not have to do that.
