Can anyone help, I bought GalCiv 2 Dark Avavtar about six weeks ago and finally got around to installing it a couple of days ago, and then I found out that I had bought the game pre-played, which I realized when I tried to register the serial, they guy who sold it to the game store probably wrote it down so he could keep playing the game, what a jerk! Anyway, I need to find out how to be able to play in the Metaverse without having to pay more.

It would be great if anyone could help.

You probably have to:

1. Contact Stardock about new registration keys at a discounted price. Or,

2. Return the game to the store for a refund, its against the EULA they should take it back, or,

3. Play the OLD demo over and over. Not sure what other options you will have.

Unless the store will take it back (they're not supposed to resell used copies) or you can somehow contact the original owner and get his account from him, the only option would be to buy a new serial.
