Welcome to the Broder Princes, a wild and untamed region of the Old World. Here small kingdoms regularly fight for dominance of the land, and its people. This summer myself and several friends will be holding our Warhammer campaign in the Border Princes. Citys will burn, armies will die, and kingdoms will crumble. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE.
So without further talk let me introduce the players and their armies to you.
Martin -Hordes of Chaos- The mighty warbands of chaos have descended from the north, and have begun to take a foothold in the border princes. Dark warriors, hellish demons, and slavering beastmen march beneath the banner of the ruinous powers, as they try to conquer the land for their gods.
Having played Warhammer now for the last three years, I have sampled quite a few armies but Chaos is definitly my favorite. I get something of everything from warriors, marauders, demons, and beastmen the Chaos army list has it all. My first army in the Border Princes will be a warhost of Khorne the blood god. Granted this army has all the subtelty of a brick in a sock, but then again it gets the job done. As my kingdom expands I will put some different armies on the table a Slaneeshi army is already assembling as are some beastmen. My warriors are ready, blades have been sharpened and the altars of sacrifice have been raised. KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!
Jeremey -Empire- Elector Counts of the Empire come to the Border Princes all the time, with the hopes that they might carve a kingdom out of the untamed wilds. Relying on strong blocks of fighting men armed with spears, swords, and halberds. The Empire also has many cannons, mortars, and other marvels of engineering such as the Steam Tank that they can call on.
Jeremey has been playing Warhammer for a long time he posses almost 1,000pts in every armyh imaginable. But his biggest army weighing in at a HUGE 4,000pts is the Empire. Everything is in one army from a steam tank, to cannons, to elector counts. Jeremey starting army will probably contain some blocks of troops, with a cannon, and some warrior priests as backup. The banner of the Elector count has been raised, the brave men of the Empire are ready to face their enemies. FOR SIGMAR!
Harrison -Tomb Kings- The undead Tomb Kings of Nekhara the desert kingdom have awoken again, thousands of once entombed bodies rise to heed their call. They march fromt he southern deserts in hopes of regaining their ancient lands, and they have set their undead eyes on the Border Princes.
Harrison has been into Warhammer for the last two years, at first he preffered the Dwarfs. But now he has been entranced by the siren call of the Tomb Kings, his army is taking shape slowly and steadily because Harrison paints every unit, and model in finest detail. His army is truly a beautifull thing to behold on the field of battle. The initial 1,000pt army will feature some blocks of skeletons, as well as some light or heavy cavalry. While the Tomb Kings are heavily dependent on magic the army can easily be stonewalled by alot of dispell dice. As the army expands we will undoubtedly see more cavalry, as well as chariots and maybe even the ever dreaded Casket of Souls. From the desert sands come they rise, an unrelenting tide of white bone. WE COME TO RECLAIM OUR FORMER GLORY!
Paul -Dark Elves- The evil Druchi come from their cold homeland in Nagarroth, their black arcs have landed on the coast of the border princes, and their armies stream inland in search of slaves. They are a force to be reckoned with fast, deadly, and evil sums them up.
This is Pauls start into the world of warhammer he has played a few games with the group before but this will be the first time he uses an army of his own, in a battle for dominance. Most of his ealry models will be loaned from Jeremys small Dark Elf army, as well as some of his own that he is in the process of putting together, and painting. The initial 1,000pt army will be interesting to see as none of us have any idea what might be contained with in it. But one can be assured that the Druchi will be very fast on the battlefield, and we will no doubt see the arrival of some Cold One Knights in the future. FOR THE WITCH KING!
Nathan -?- I am unsure of this moment what Nathan will bring to the battle, it is a choice between the Bretoninans, and the Lizardmen. Rest assured I will put an article up as soon as I know.
