Vista reverts from Aero to Basic with OD+

Free OD worked fine.

I was using ObjectDock just fine. I've upgraded to OD+ and I'm having all sorts of problems. Most noticeably, Outlook runs in Basic Colors mode. And sometimes the entire OS switches from Vista to Basic Colors. Anybody know what's going on?

I'm wondering if I should have just stayed with Free OD.

This only occurs with OD Plus running? Have you updated your video drivers in a while? What other skinning software are you running?

It may also be worthwhile to check up on DWM. Go to Start->Start Search and type services.msc. Look for Desktop Window Manager Session Manager and ensure that's set to automatic and started.

I've seen this service go awol on clean installs of Vista. I think it might be a casualty of battles between not completely stable video drivers and the system, or just simply poor design.

DWM was already running. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled from SDCentral, and Outlook seems to run in Aero okay now. I have a new problem, though, but I'll start a new thread for it.
