Crashes trying to upgrade Defender as Yor

I get a crash when i try to upgrade the basic defender design as Yor, i have a hunch it has something to do with the weapon the defender is equipped with as i had researched the Missile Tree but the ship was armed with a particle beam by the looks of it.

And the one of the Recharging Stalks techs(first or second, can't remember right now) has a spelling error in the description, "Cybernetic" is spelled as "Cybnertic".
