Something wierd

ok this is the problem. I have been using the logon studio editor to build my logons, the thing is after i have used it for a while all of a sudden my computer seems to go into shortcut mode. I can type only one letter then anything else starts to open programs, close programs, open the run dialog etc etc. has anyone else experienced this behaviour or is my computer possessed

Dying keybard? Or defective port?

Have you checked whether the board is plugged in correctly? Have you tried another port? (provided you have an USB-keyboard).

Edit: How about spyware (keyloggers), have you cleaned up your computer recently?

checked checked and checked, i run anti spyware scans everyday and nothing. everything seems to be running as it should and the problem only occurs when i use logon studio editor. and further when i try and choose a picture for the top and bottom panels i get an error and the editor closes, right after that the problem appears. It really has me stumped. from now on when i want to build a logon i will be closing everything else and concentrating on the job, then once i am finished i will reboot.

i thought that may be something to do with it as well mate, and i checked out my mouse. even went as far as to remove my optical and replace with a ball mouse, same problem occurs.

just want to thank everyone for the suggestions, thats why i love this site so much. people are always willing to think outside the box.
