new icons

hi, i'm brand new here and i'm curious.

i just downloaded a HL2 icon set. how do i go about using them?? better yet installing them?

and the icons are for HL2 and CSS, the only ones im having trouble with
ObjectDock - Access shortcuts and frequently used applications from an animated dock.

Icons in the misc/od libraries don't *require* objectdock as they can be used with anything, but yes icons from the IconPackager gallery do need IP in order to use them.

Using IconPackager

As for the icons in the OD/misc icons library....if you are using OD just unzip them somewhere on your harddrive that you will remember, then right click on the dock icon you want to change > dock entry properties > change icon > and browse for the icon you want to replace it with.

unzip the icons and remember where you unzip them to. then go to your dock and right click on an icon like, "my computer" for example.. in the menu that appears select dock entry properties at the very bottom...in the settings window that opens theres a Change image button, clik it and a "choose a new image" window will open. to the left theres a browse for image button it will open another window.use that window to locate the icon or PNG images in the folder you unziped. select the one you want and click open.. the new image should now be applied to the docks shortcut...press ok to close the remaining window and your done
