Dark Influence

Ok, I thought that Dark Influence was going to be simply offsetting the -% influence from production buildings...however when I placed my first one, the Terran influence line retreated at least a sector back. From then on out, every planet on the border got one and any flipped planet got one.

Sadly, who needs influence starbases when you had these monsters.
