BUGS: Too many reinforcements / Carrier Launching problems.

2 big bugs for me that I found in beta 4: For whatever reason, sometimes my carrier would not launch their fighters or bombers. Seemed completely random, and NO it was not because I was in an anomoly or storm. I tested out launching while having enough ship support or while in negative ship support, either or did not seem to effect the outcome, I still cannot launch ships... which brings me to my: 2nd point.) Late in the game I kept getting 3 or 4 types of reinforcements from I don't know where or what (maybe the black fleet tech?) they would be transporters, assailants, and a couple other kinds, the problem is, they would bring my ship supply into the negatives, which posed a problem when I wanted to build ships I actually chose (like replacing capital ships that died) I couldn't do that with ship support in the negatives, it was so much of a problem that even if I try scuttling these reinforment ships to make room to build the ships I want, I couldn't scuttle(destory) the ships fast enough before more reinforcements came.

As far as the black fleet tech goes, why didn't you just turn OFF the autocast on the phase gates generating the reinforcements?

Please send us a save game of the problem the next time it occurs. This allows us to usually fix things in minutes instead of days (it takes way longer to track down a bug occuring than it does to fix it). The save game will zip up really small and you can send them to [email protected].

As for the other problem, I usually turn off autocast when I get near my fleet point limit (same as Ron).

then why doesnt the phase gate get built with autocast Off? It would be safer.
