WB6 causes errors in classic start menu

I just installed WindowBlinds 6, and I noticed that it's messing up the spacing in my (classic) start menu. The spacing starts out okay right after I apply a skin, but when I cursor over items in the Programs list, they jump to the left so they're right up against the icons, and then they stay stuck that way. This is what it looks like:
You can see that "Windows Update" and "My Computer" in the top-level menu have the same problem. This same problem occurs with every skin I've tried, and I used a Stardock skin (Diamond) for the example, to show that it's not just some wacky skin with bad settings.
I have WindowBlinds 4 installed on a laptop, and it doesn't seem to have the same problem.
Is this a known bug, and is there any way to fix it?
