First fires now some shaking going on.

As if fires in Southern California were not bad enough it looks like Northern California did some shaking yesterday. From what I'm reading it was somewhere around a 5.6 magnitude earthquake in the San Francisco Bay area.

I spendt about four years in California way back when I was a whole lot younger. From what I remember a 5.6 is alot worse than a 4.3 quake which they had around Los Angeles last week.

Hope everyone is okay. I quess the rains will come next with the mud slides. You folks out there take care.

We're still here John!  

Yesterday's 5.6 quake was centered in San Jose about 115 miles from where I live, so by time the shock wave arrived at Stockton, all I felt as the magnitude diminished was one slight jolt.

There were ten aftershocks but I didn't feel any of those.

I'll say it again, that's life in California my friend. Something is always burning, something is always shaking. We have aftershocks almost daily from the constant seismic activity.

So yeah, the rain and mud slides are next!

The designer Kennkh is in Oakland, shooter AnneMarie is in Lemmore, Boss0190 is up here as well and his son goes to collage in San Diego!

I haven't seen too many other members from Northern Cal John.

As it is right now the crisis in Southern Cal isn't over yet, just contained.

So Bebi Bulma, HG Eliminator and I don't know if you remember Longdude0 are ones to check on as well.

We had a 5.6 one morning a few years ago. I was grateful - it rocked me back to sleep nicely...
