TotA Minor XP launch 'bug'

As per my email sent to GCII bugs: -

One small issue with XP i have noticed is the shortcut in the Start - All Programs - Stardock Games - GCII - Galactic Civilizations II - Twilight of the Arnor. This is the default address created on d/l of the expansion but on clicking the shortcut it creates you are immediately launched into the game and not the normal start screen, The shortcut points to "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\GC2TwilightOfTheArnor.exe" but should point to "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\TALaunch.exe".

We were having trouble with the launcher on Vista so we disabled it for now.

I just downloaded and installed all three games here at the office (as I'm on helpdesk and stuck waiting for email to come in or the phone to ring) and the stardock software doesn't show any additional updates, yet every time I try to run TA it gives me an error about needing GalCiv version blahblahblah to run properly, I click ok, and it launches fine.

Draknost, do the version numbers match in the error messages and what Stardock Central is showing? There's probably something wrong with your registry entries.

If you go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE under Software\Stardock\Drengin.net\Galciv2, check the string in the Version key, it should be 1.50.128 or higher. Then go to the Dark Avatar branch and check the version string there.
