Windowblinds not working in Vista

I just upgraded from xp home to vista home edition and windowlinds won't work. I have run it from sdc, but no icon in system tray and doesn't show display panel. Only theme manager is in display panel. i have also rebooted to no avail.
Please help. Vista home edition is turning out to be a nightmare. At first my printer would not install and now this problem.

It is generally much better to carried out a 'clean' install of Vista, rather than an upgrade. That way you are starting from a completely fresh version of Vista. Of course you will have to back up all your docs, pictures etc first on an external drive, then copy them back after, as well as re-install all of your programs, including Windowblinds. It may take longer, but the end result will be a much healthy system.

You can select a clean install from your upgrade disk. You will have to format your hard drive first (the Vista upgrade disk will do this for you).

Post your WB sysinfo here.  Maybe theres a problem with the install.

Did you uninstall WB before upgrading then re-install after upgrading? That would be the best procedure.
