Does this kind of docklet exist?

Is there a docklet that when I click it it acts like you pressed a key on your keyboard? The reason I ask is that I frequently use the Yahoo! Widgets Dashboard, but it's annoying having to look down on my keyboard to find F8 every time I want to use it. Clicking a dock icon would be much easier.

It's the weekend . . response might be slow.

Me, I'd create a wsh file that uses sendkey (or it's equivalent) to call that key.
