We are aware of the intermittent issues users are experienceing with downloads at the moment.  The problem is currently being addressed and should be resolved soon.  Until then, you may be unable to download certain skins, seemingly at random.

We have also placed a hold on submission moderation until the problem has been fixed.  It's expected that any items in the queue will be addressed by the end of Saturday.

Additionally, maintenance work will be done on the Wiki this afternoon (unrelated) and may be unavailable for several hours.

Forums are working properly, as are *most* skin downloads.

I apologize for the inconvenience, and hope you'll bear with us as we kick the servers into submission.

Kudos for keeping people informed...a lot of sites do not bother and leave the membership to go mad with frustration and wondering....well done!....Rectal gnomes can always cause problems with the system...lol....

Good to hear that the maintenance crew is working on the servers; however, I might suggest not kicking the servers. They may become tempermental at that time and refuse to do any serving at all and may even demand wage hikes and free health insurance/with dental... oh, never mind.

I have not been able to upload anything for the last three days. Tried the old link and the new with three different browsers. Is this due to this problem or do I have something else going on?

Probably due to the current issue with the servers.

I still cannot upload anything, the progress bar fills up and brings me right back to where I started. If trying to use the new upload with Firefox, the progress completes and then I get a message that the screenshot is not a valid file and to check the file extension. Matters not what I try to upload, I get the same results.

No, it's there, it just requires work on the store end to be put up.  The person who does that half will be in on Monday.
