Work in Progress: Docks from WebGizmos

More or less the recognized authority on theme matched docks here in the WinCustomize community, WebGizmos is hard at work on yet more killer docks built specifically to go along with some of the most popular themes on the site.  I spoke with him via IRC a little bit this afternoon and he shared with me a few previews of what he's currently working on.  He was kind enough to give me permission to pass these along to you as well.

First, there's his work on a matching dock to go along with the as-yet unreleased SliderXP Master Skin from I.R. Brainiac.

It's an extremely polished looking dock that I'm sure is going to go perfectly with SliderXP when released. 

Now, probably more interesting to folks is that WebGizmos is working on a dock set to go along with Stardock Design's Magic Desktop Suite.  Not only did I get a few screenshots to share, I've got an early copy of the dock and I have to say, it's outstanding.  Here are a few tidbits for you to drool over.

While not yet available, WebGizmos told me to expect 4-5 styles in the Magic Desktop dock set, so there's bound to be a look that suits everyone's needs.

You got to like how things happen around here. Someone mentions that it would be nice to have a dock or widget or whatever to go with a suite that you find out that it's all ready being working on by someone.

One of the huge benefits of what I do is I get sneak peeks like this all the time when artists want to show off their work before releasing it!  It's a lot of fun, especially when a skin undergoes dramatic changes between what I'm shown and what is final.

Thanks guys! I need to say that although I think this SliderXp dock looks great...IRBrainiac has the final say on whether or not the docks get released. But hopefully he'll like these.

Great stuff WG. Your work is stupendous (I hope I spelled that right!!!!!). Nice article as well, Zoomba, because some people like WG don't always get the thanks they deserve. All credit to both of you. Now come on you Rox !!!!! Sorry my attention is being diverted elsewhere

Thanks again guys ....I think it only fair that a lot of kudos should also go to the people who hammer out the great skins these docks are for.....without them I wouldn't have anything to do. I can't wait till the final is done on IR's SliderXP skin!

And bring it on Craig! I know I'll have more fun and quite possibly another challenge ahead.

Iv'e said it before and I'll say it again. WebGizmos is the DockMaster General!

      

Now all we need is J. Aroche to work on a Magic Wand Cursor and perhaps a Magic Rainy from lovely62 and the Magic would really be complete!!!
