I like my old av, but it's a stock picture I found a loooong time ago. I created a new one using basic shapes and some gradients and I like it too. First question is, do you like it or should I go back to the old one. The old one is recognizable. The new one, is well, new. Second question, how many av's have you used, since joining WC. Only want to use WC as the basis, nevermind any other sites.

I think I had 3 or 4 before I made the cartoon style one that I have now. I have about 6 versions of this one, all with different expressions.

Maybe the guys that code the site could let us upload more than one avatar, and change it to suit our mood? That would be a fun addition to our personal pages.

I know a guy who invested big-time in DVD Rewinder's development

....could possibly get you one cheap if you're interested.

It throws me off when folks change their avatar or nick.
For me, I want people to know recognize who I am easily.  I want them to see that icon and know that tehy are reading somethign from someone they can 1)trust, 2) laugh with, 3) make fun of spelling.  And I want them to see and recognize that all quickly.

My avatar is based on my nick both in text and pattern so that it'd be easy to recognize.  The font style was designed to reflect an Eastern bent of philospphy.
