The Magic Desktop is a nice theme, but i was wondering if anyone has plans to add on to this. With out a cursor theme, OD backrounds and OD icons it seems to be an incomplete suite. I'm not complaining, but just curious about its continued development by other authors. I myself am not talented enough to do such things and it would be nice if someone can complete the work.

Here is my idea for a cursor if anyone is interested

with the magic stars appearing on the clicks or when you come across a link or something

even a rainlender and Sysmetrix themes would definitely add to the "magic"

Excellent suite but the clock gadget doesn't work.
The second hand doesn't move and the time on the clock doesn't change, except when I right click on the clock and it shows the "Close/About/Autorun" menu.
While this menu is visible, the second hand ticks happily away.

yeah, my cursor is that but I'm not good enough of an artist to make it look real clean

Um, I have Object desktop and I have a subscription set to end after 2009 and it was updated before the deadline and yet i see no way to get it. Isn't it supposed to be free to current OD subscribers who meet the criteria?

I too have the same question as phil??

You should have received an email if you qualified.  If you didn't get one, first check your spam or junk mail, then email [email protected] with your question and any email you might have used in the past while subscribing.

phil1c and MetalHellssAngel if you meet all the requirement prior to the release date you should have received an email from Stardock. Check your spam folder, if you have one, to make sure it didn't go there. It you didn't get one or it wound up in the spam folder, email Stardock and they should be able to help you.

EDIT: Rats, a victim of slow typing again!!

Is there a tutorial on how to install this suite? I purchased it, but am having a hard time applying it. I was expecting an .exe file and am not sure what to do. I would appreciate any help!

Hi hastafford.

Do you have the latest version of Theme Manager? The suite will apply with this program. Of course you will also need Windowblinds 6 and IconPackager 3.2 OR the entire Object Desktop package for the suite to work.

Hope this helps,

Commander Phil

Hi there, I cannot get the Magic Suite to work either, when I double click the suite, it appears in Theme Manager, but when I the click apply, and it says would you like to apply these skins, yes or no, there is nothing in the listing part or the preview picture, it tries to download a file but then thats it, nothing.
I am using Theme Manager 2.50c, Windows Vista 32bit, SD Central says I am up to date, any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
