Task bar not being skinned properly with WB6

Hi,

Been running WB since WB3. Recently loaded up WB6 and found that my task bar is only partially skinned, although the rest of the skins seem to work. This happens no matter which skin I use, so must be something new.

I remember something similar happening with WB4 where we had to make some modification to boot.ini but cant remember what is was.

Any clues ?

I know what you mean. I am running Night Trains October WB at the moment and what a fantastic blind that is - Thanks NT - but the right side on the Task Bar where the running progs sit is showing all orange whereas it should be black. I have reloaded it three times now and after a few minutes the black falls out and goes back to orange

Hi Irving (and Leo),

I had similar problems and this is what worked for me:

- Open WB configuration window
- Click the System info tab (top row, same as "look & feel")
- At the bottom right you'll see a box that says "Enable if you have corrupted titlebar buttons or text backgrounds"

Thank you, iseekserendipity.......Nope that does not cure it either. Still have the problem and I suspect this is a bug with WB6 as others are having the same problem. It only appears to 'hit' certain skins

Yes,its very hit and miss...I have one skin that does it every time but the rest can be made to act right usually.

Thanks for your help guys,

No go with the 'corrupted title bar' button.

I have found that most of the old skins still work (Long Horn Slate, anything by Mike Bryant) and the new skin Vienna, but all the other new ones seem to miss skinning the task bar.
