In about a week, I leave home again to float around the coast of West Africa bringing American rock and roll to the denizens of several African countries. I'll be back (hopefully) before Christmas (not that Mari and I are really attached to the holiday, but friends and family are, so we celebrate it with them.)

LW and MM, I'll send you an e-mail from the ship once we have e-mail addresses there. Letters are always appreciated on deployments.

Thanks, y'all. That's quite cool of yas. I'll write down all these emails and take them with me. Once we get settled in and have shipboard e-mail addresses, I'll drop you all a line Bandwidth permitting, maybe I can send an action shot once in a while

Thanks for the letter, which by the wonderful quality of it was written and sent exactly when it was supposed to be. It's 3:22am, and I wouldn't hazard a response at this hour, but one will certainly come your way before I depart on Friday.
