Earlier this year, we launched a gallery for Xion, an incredibly easy to skin media player from r2 studios.  We added the gallery at the request of several skinners in the community.  The deal when we added it though was that I had to have at least 10 skins ready to go into the gallery as soon as I launched it, as a sign of popularity and that the skinners who were requesting it really wanted it.  Honestly, I expected maybe a few dozen skins then it would slow down, but just the opposite has happened.  Xion has become one of our most popular galleries.  Here are a handful of my favorite Xion skins on the site

Xion is a bit of a 'throwback' to the early days of skinning....when all you ever needed was a 'simple' graphics proggy and Notepad [maybe].

In this case it's just a proggy that can create a layered psd file .... [easier than Winamp 2x and even I can make those]...

I really like Xion and the Xion gallery is one of my daily hits to see whats new. This was a great addition to WC and I hope it continues to grow.

Loads of fun and on skins without too many animations...I sometimes see 1% cpu usage.Very easy on the processor.(til you crank up the animations...heheheheeh)

same here... I used to visit the winamp gallery but submissions for xion grow more frequently than winamp now... now its only the xion gallery I'm checking whenever I visit WC
