So I activated sound packager, and I try to apply a sound package, but every time I just get an error message saying that sound packager needs to close??

phoenix144 I ran across this error last night also. Sound Packager opens up to the point where it goes to load up the sound packages and stops. You get an error notice that says Sound Packager has encountered a problem and needs to close. If you read the error notice along with alot of numbers, IP etc., the last thing is P9: system.io.directorynotfound.

Must have something to do with the last update requiring the user to activate.

We may not get an answer until Monday, this being the weekend.

I wonder if anyone else has come across this yet?

I have been having that problem since I updated yesterday. It seems to happen every time I try to scroll through any drop-down list in Sound Packager quickly (by clicking just above the down arrow in the drop-down box or rapidly clicking on the down arrow itself), instead of slowly and carefully.

Just a little bump.

I see some new sounds were added to the Sound Packager Library, be nice to try them out!

Just to keep people up who maybe having a problem with Sound Package, I started a ticket with the support folks and sent them log files. I'll post back what I hear.

Received an email from the support folks yesterday so maybe I will hear something more by the end of the week. I'm not discounting that my computer maybe the cause of the problem.

Well it looks like the last update corrected what ever may have been the problem or maybe I did. I uninstalled Sound Packager including all sounds, rebooted and reinstalled the whole program. In other words a total uninstall, reboot and total clean install.

Everything seems to be working find now. Downloaded all the new sounds from the library and I am playing with them now. the program seems to have one new feature, try it out and see what I mean. Go ahead try out if you don't like the sounds you can alwasy go back to the default sounds of your computer.

That would be my next suggestion is to install from the linked Impulse that BigDog supplied there. Also what version number are you getting of SoundPackager on what OS?
