Which version of ObjectDock are you running and which version of Windows?

Do you have any security apps installed and running on your system?

Hello,
I am having the same problem with my start menu docklet.
I am using object dock version 1.90, build 534, running on vista home premium.
and zonealarm trial is running as security.
any ideas?

Yep. same problem here. Its an issue with user access. When under admin account the startmenu loads fine, only under lesser users does the error occur. Needs to be addressed by Stardock in the code somewhere during install. Clearly not a case by case issue, but systematic.

Support: Please post on Stardock Homepage once you have fixed this issue.

Thank you.

I just re-installed ObjectDock 2 myself, and getting the same error... somewhat.

Currently on XP SP2, but about to reinstall Vista.

I was never a fan of the new Vista start menu, so I installed AstonMenu, which is a start menu replacement.

It'll show that error all the time with AstonMenu running, but with the default XP menu it runs just fine. (Not sure if it's OD2's fault or AstonMenu's.. but there ya go.)

Same here.
Running Windows XP SP2
Using ObjectDock Plus 1.90 build 535u
I had previously installed the freeware version and upgraded to plus. I had also instaled the freeware version of RightClick, but it is currently uninstalled.

Sorry about replying to such an old post, but I didn't see a solution here. Same issue here with 1.90 build 535u running on Windows XP SP2. Contrary to a previous comment, I am running as full admin on this box and I see this error often. If I leave OD for a while and try the start menu again, sometimes it will work.

Fired up DebugView here and pointed it at the PID of OD. There doesn't appear to be any debug info being written though so that was no help unfortunately.
