With palms together,
Good Morning Everyone,
My run yesterday was a mile short of my lower end goal of 5-6 miles. I managed to do 4.1 before I ran out of time...I was delayed starting out some. This morning I will do 2-3 miles along the towpath in Old Mesilla. This run will be quicker as I am going with Katie, my training partner, my son, Jacob, and his fiance, Julie.
On a lighter note , I will take Tripper to the groomer's for a much needed bath and brushing. That boy is a dog's dog and gets himself soooo dirty as he runs on our morning treks.
The breakfast meeting was interesting yesterday. We had a discussion in the synagogue lead by a fundamentalist Christian with orthodox and reform Jews, a couple of Buddhists, a couple of hard core scientists, and who knows what else in attendance. It was quite a lively discussion of various aspects of Genesis.
Our fundamentalist Christian related a story about attending a Pagan conference in support of our military last Saturday where he honored deceased soldiers by standing with a cross and holding a sign that read "Jesus Saves". We surely live in interesting times.
Be well
