Right-drag Crashes Explorer.exe/WB6

Hi. I just upgraded to WB6 after using WB5 for over a year with no problems. But now. . . .

. . . when I right-drag a file and drop it into a new explorer window to move or copy it, explorer.exe locks up for a few seconds and then crashes and restarts (explorer.exe--not the PC.) Is anyone else having this issue?

Unfortunately, I have just re-ghosted my system back to an earlier incarnation--one with WB5--so I can't give you any specs on the WB6 version. Just that it was the very latest.

If there are any known solutions, I'll go back to WB6, otherwise I'll keep using WB5. Thanks!

your specs and WB's specs might have been helpful

I just tried the right+drag thing = no errors, no hang ups

Alright, after reading another thread here, I wondered if my problem might be due to the nView Desktop Manager. So I reinstalled WB6, disabled the nView Desktop Manager, and low-and-behold, the right-drag issue was no longer an issue.

Not sure at this point if which I "need" more, nView or WB6, but hopefuly this problem will be resolved in the next WB6 revision. BTW, I am using the stock Dell drivers for this PC, an Inspiron 9300.

humm... I've had the desktop manager off for quite a while... not much on it I really need... using the 93.71 drivers
