Mac's feature of hiding all windows running

hi guys i'm trying to find that feature that mac's have where when u take ur mouse cursor to the top left side of the screen all active windows disapear.. is that feature available for windows? or is there anything similar to it?

I suppose it'd be possible to create a DX widget that did what you ask.
Sub Object_OnMouseEnter
Set objShell = CreateObject("Shell.Application")
objShell.MinimizeAll
Set objShell = Nothing

I was't very clear here.
You need to have DesktopX installed
You need to switch to Builder mode
Create a new object
Add a new script
Paste in the above code
Save and close
It's not set to restore the windows, just minimize all.
The graphic is the default DX one, you could make it a transparent PNG or something if you wanted.

One thing you might give a try is download the trial of Object Bar (If you are on XP of course) and look at the multiple desktop tool. There is a ton of customization that can be done through this and it might give you what you are looking for.

I'd forgotten about that one.  Nice.

DO NOT CONFUSE IT WITH SWITCH.  EVER.
It may not be the hardest widget to create . . but it might be the hardest to close.

It's actually better to use WinKey+M rather than WinKey+D, as the Show Desktop feature is really just a poor hack (drawing the desktop contents over everything, rather than actually minimizing anything).

What are you talking about? That's the greatest feature. It runs indefinitely... that way, you never have to remember to run it at any point in the future. Joking aside, I have much respect for rabidrobot's skills

All caps is considered yelling.  Might want to use lower cases.
Starting a new post of finding one similar to yours is more polite than just adding on another thread that is unrelated.

I'd start off troublshooting by posting the WB system information in a new thread with your problem description.

As Zubaz says please refrain from using all caps.

If you wish you can avoid the whole issue by adding the MSN messenger to the per application settings. If you double click on the WB logo in your taskbar then click the settings tab > change the look of an app you can set the messenger to not be skinned at all. If you have further problems though I would suggest using support at [email protected].
