Maybe I've read too many trashy novels...Gah, I love them...but I can only ever see this word one way....

He threw her to the floor, intent on slaking his lust within her soft flesh.

yup.  yup.

This one will always be with me because of ......................TV!  Yep!  Mash. and Radar Getting "slaked".

ONe of my favorite episodes! That episode slaked my thirst for Radar's love life.

I wished to slake my thirst, but my stomach slaked and made an awful mess...if only I didn't get that lime lined digestive system.

San Cho will get this one as well.  I first heard this word used in the superb RPG Planescape: Torment.

One of the characters, Fall-From-Grace by name, is a succubus who has forgone the things of the flesh and has set up a brothel called the "Brothel for Slaking Intellectual Lusts" wherein the clients converse and philosophize.  Yes, the game is that cool.
