Weekly Poll: More Suites like R.I.P 2007?

At the end of last week, we announced that if you were either a WinCustomize Subscriber, or if you bought a Premium Suite between now and October 31st, you would get R.I.P 2007, a major update to the suite for WindowBlinds 6 and Windows Vista.  We also released a completely free Dream animated wallpaper to match the suite.  Overall, the response has been great!

This week's question is: Would you like to see more promotional suites like R.I.P 2007?

How could you not like what Stardock/Wincustomze has been providing to it's subscribers. Excellent work guys and girls. Bring it on, I will always make room for more.

I voted "Sure". The reason I didn't vote for the "oh yeah, love them holiday suites" was because of the simple fact that I don't believe they should all be premium suites.

I know what it takes to create the suites... the time consumed by the artists that develop them. But, in contrast, even a top notch premium suite isn't necessarily as popular as one that was developed free for the community, by the community. We've seen a lot of that here recently..

You'll get more flies with sugar on your holiday "sweets"... if on occasion, they are offered to the community as a whole, and not just those that have purchased a subscription. I am not saying it should be that way all the time... but it shouldn't be a premium suite every time either! Just saying, that everyone once in a blue moon, a suite of this nature could be offered up without cost.

"I don't really care for them much" is my vote. Holiday skins are usually so big and gaudy (prefer sleek and clean), not very usable. I'd rather have something more usable on a daily basis than just for a few days out of the year.

love Holiday suites.. would be interesting to see if there could be something to knock Mormegils *Christmas Time* theme, off my desktop this year...its adorned my desktop every Christmas since it's release..

Big and cheezy are the skins for me, if i wanted a basic look id revert to luna...
