So I gues it's free in that you don't have to buy it like a Maste skin or MyColors but you still have to be a member of Wincustomize or have bought a recent product.

I would consider the message you got a clarification.  You would get the same message if you tried to download any skin at WC.

Try out the skins that came with the trial.  If you like them, consider buying the full version of WB and you can download all you want.

If you are a recent member and you think the message you are getting is an error, let us know adn maybe we can help with that too.

Thank you for the quick reply. I think their stating that it's a free skin is a little misleading.....considering I am just trying out their WB6 for the 30 day trial. I thought you would be able to download the "free" skin and add it to the 30 day trial. At least that is they way I have interrupted it.

Well, if you had NOT already downloaded more than 50 megabytes of material from WinCustomize prior to the release of the skin, it would have been free.  However, since you've already exceeded this, you are no longer entitled to recieve the benefits.  Much like WB has a trial, WinCustomize has one as well.

His message was not the same as the one I posted (and expected). It indicates he is a past customer. However, having said that, Prickly Pear has WB6 with the four skins he can use the trial with and he has been a past customer so he should know what the deal-io is.

Prickly Pear. WB6 is worth the price of admission.

Yes, I am a past customer. I have Icon Packager and Cursor XP. It's been a long while since I have visited WinCustomize and downloaded anything. There have been many changes on the WinCustomize website since the last time I visited it. If I remember correctly (old age thing) you use to be able to download things without a limitation. I can fully understand why WinCustomize now limits your downloads and why a subscription is required. I have no problem with this. Like I said......it's been a long while. So Zubaz.....thank you again for answering all my questions and for your patience and understanding. Oh, by the way......I am in the process of purchasing WB6. It's a fantastic program!!!!
