Skins not getting applied correctly

Windowsblinds partially loads skin. It does not apply :

1. wallpaper
2. Lock Workstation / Shutdown does not get skinned
3. window backgrounds
4. cursor/sounds
5. right click menu

It applies the icons, the titlebar, fonts, buttons, start menu etc, but whatever I get on my machine does not look like the skin screenshot.

I noticed I had theme manager installed too, so I removed that, still no difference. I have paid for Object Desktop, but I'm getting increasingly frustrated. Please note I also have ObjectDock installed (another product I'm frustrated with). Any help appreciated. WindowBlinds info listed below.

Thanks,

Yaz

WB doesn't technically apply the items ou listed, wallpaper and lock workstation ONLY if icluded by the author, the others you need to apply seperately.

Theme Manager \ WB coexistence apparently has had some complications in the past , not sure if that has been remedied.

They are included by the author. How do I apply these? Sorry, I'm a newbie here and still exploring all the tools included in Object Desktop.

Lots of skins dont include wallpapers as resolutions differ on different monitors. I would just choose a wallaper, open the image and "set as desktop background"

Any cursor XP should install automatically upon download, or you can choose it from the cursorXP tab in Mouse properties in your control panel.

Window background's at this time only work on Vista as far as I know.

RightClick...im not sure about, I assume you extract the skin folder to the skins directory and apply from the rightclick properties dialog.

The funny thing is when I had installed the trial version prior to purchasing, the wallpaper would apply just fine. For example, I got the jitter wallpaper applied with the skin. When I purchased the full version and installed that, and applied Jitter, it did not apply the wallpaper while it is included. Why / how did it work in the trial version. If it had not happened previously, I probably would not even have noticed the difference. I can click on wallpapers and see the various resolutions / sizes of the jitter wallpaper included, but it won't apply when I apply the skin. It seems to only take what's in the display properties. (that's where I noticed the theme manager previously).

There is a setting in WBconfig to apply any included wallpapers, make sure you have it checked (on)

Could the windows xp themes (display properties) be conflicting? I'm on windows xp sp2.

Thanks for the help thus far.

Open the WindowBlinds Configuration screen and click on Settings. Put a check mark in "Apply the wallparer included with the skin (if any). Check out the other settings there in case you want to change them.

Wbhelp.dll 48

This indicates wbhelp.dll cannot be located.

I would uninstall, reboot (important) and reinstall the beta.

WB does not apply cursors etc.
