ScreensShot Rejected

What gidelines are in a screenshot?

I have taken a screenShot of my Halloween Desktop. It has a modified colored of my Dark Vista Desktop DX theme. also has October wb by Night Train. Not sure why it would be rejected.

There's at least three of us having troubles here(including you). When I try to put in animations or do quotes, it just prints them out like it did in your comments. I had a little trouble loading a screenshot, but it finally went through. Not sure, but I think something is going on and its all tied together somehow.

I just got a second Email from WC on Rejection. It says that this is problem but not sure what it means.
You need to obscure the center of the wall some.

It means that you have too much of the wallpaper showing, and somebody [with the right tools] could 'extract' that main focus [the pumpkin] from your image, adapt it, and upload somewhere else as his/her own creation.

This is called 'ripping' anothers work ... This is why it is important that you obscure the central part of your screenshot as much as possible, whilst obviously trying to get the point of your screenshot across to viewers.

Hope that explains it a little...

Erk Thanks for the info.
I just could not understand why a ScreenShot would get rejected.
That makes sense.

Sorry WeatherBound, hope I wasn't butting in.   I'm glad the case was solved!   I'll take my issues to another spot.   I'm actually glad I was wrong!

HTML isn't parsed in the skin description (it mentions that on the upload page) and animations just unnecessarily eat CPU anyway. :X (if that's what you meant, in regular comments it *should* work)

Wallpapers often are too overly visible in a screenshot enabling the wall to be easily extracted and re-used as a wall...so essentially the screenshot becomes unauthorized distribution of the wall, or, in other words a copyright issue.

Other than porn or [other objectionable content eg. racism] that'll be the only reason a screenshot is rejected....

Guess I need to use another word, a lot of people don't know what obscure  means.

WOM
I will make sure that all my screen shots from now on meet that guideline.
Thanks for catching it.

Thanks everyone for your input.
