Blurring and Trans in WB6

Ok, this is pretty much for Neil but feel free to chime in...

There apparently is some form of mask \ shader that sits behind the frames in WB6 I assume to assist in blurring and transparency.. In Vistafying my Sexy Wb skin I noticed.. as you know Neil, a grey outline.. after investigating some (and after fixing the shadows like you suggested) it seems to me that this "mask" is not conforming correctly to differently shaped frames and in particular, frames with more rounded corners.

Im positive my graphics are fine and I'll add that in Wb6 blurring and trans. work just fine.. even with my Vista skin. I am attaching an image showing example of why i feel this is a problem.

Apparently I cannot upload my vista version as Master skin until it is fixed so I thought I would point out what I think is the problem.

Please advise. Thx.

I can confirm those bugs: when blur enabled on vista.

John, Have you tried adding a reflection map to see if it helps?

I know, poor suggestion but it is disguised as a bump.

The trick is in the glass per-pixel image and how it is made to fit and sizing...
seen something on how it does change the order of the shadow and the smoothing of edges!
uis2 frames - hint...
catch me this evening John!

I have spoken to vStyler about this issue.

However it is not a bug.

WindowBlinds has very limited control over the blur under Vista and it tries its best to adjust it to the skin shape, but there are limits.

In the future we will be adding some manual controls so the skin author can tweak it a bit.
