Will DL and DA be worth playing any more?

Will Twilight of the Arnor outshadow these gems of games?

Ok, so you all know that the expansion Twilight of the Arnor will be comin' out in November (hopefully), and that there are going to be a ton of new features. But what about Dread Lords, the game that started it all? What about Dark Avatar? Twilight is an upgraded version of Galciv 2 Dark Avatar, as is Dark Avatar of Dread Lords. With the exception of the cool campaigns, no one is probably gonna play DL and DA very often. Nowadays, expansion packs don't add themselves into the original program anymore; they create whole seperate program.   Because of this, no one want to quit out of the expansion to go play the "old" version.

An idea for the devs: Write a couple lines of code to eliminate the "switch chapter" button, and just put DL, DA, and Twilight into one program, with one menu that shows a little note saying: DA and Twilight installed. This way, users can switch the game era without having to quit out of the game.

I sure hope you understand what I'm saying.

Which would mean the program would still have to contain ALL of the code from DL, DA and TA. That's not something I'd bet on happening.

Well DA has been out a while and I have both and still play DL more, so I doubt TA is going to totally kill off the others. By the time it comes out I may get around to playing DA regularly.

You can always play the older campaigns if you want to. I see no reason for concern - everybody can do what they want so it's all good.

Personally I only play "sandbox" games and want the latest and greatest.
