Boreas*, hear my plea!

HOT, HOT, HOT

You know, I like summer and all...and warm weather is super. However, it's freakin' 96 here today and I have to trot all around campus to learn and in the process slowly cooking...like a delicious Thanksgiving turkey. Oh what I wouldn't give for a nice cold front to get these temperatures down to tolerable, maybe even pleasant levels.

To simplify:

Walking + Learning + 60-80 degrees** = Good
Walking + Learning + Horrible 90 and above degrees** = Bad

*sigh*...I'm actually looking forward to late fall and winter...this is insane.

Hi!~
I'm new here, but I have been reading your poetry for a long time without commenting. You have a remarkable voice through your writting and I would love if you could post some more! Where do you go to school and I am assuming it's for zoology...hehe!

Hey Zoo! Long time no see see.

I am feeling your pain with the heat wave...but looks like by the end of the week things will be cooler...(crossing my fingers).

Um, Zoo...do you write poetry?

Ah, thanks...I've had a touch of writer's block...or rather I really haven't had any inspiration...but I might try and conjure up something if I get into a mood.

Miami University...and you're quite spot on with your assumption.

Um, Zoo...do you write poetry?

Sure do...where have you been? Just check out my index...I'm sure you'll run into one fairly quickly.

Easier said than done...but I'm trying...

Seems you've picked up a fan, Zoo! (hope she's a cute one!)

Heh, heh...fans, eh?...I don't get many of those.

You know how Ohio can be.

Why can't there ever be a happy medium?...It's either sizzlin' or freezin'.

OMG! Amanda, Ohio? If so, that's really close to Circleville, which is where my grandparents live. Right off of 22. I'm class of 06 also, only I was home schooled and now I go to Ohio University.
Hey, we may meet someday!

My bad Zoo. I don't go to the poetry section too often.

I've also been gone a lot this summer.
