Okay I just wanna ask are ALL fundementalistic Christians all the same... No one said we came from monkeys... if anything being a close Geneicalogical relative it would be apes... not monkeys... monkeys have tails.... apes dont. As for the whole evolving thing... man you ppl are still stuck on the idiocy of the 19th century arent ya! I swear if BIll Hicks could hear this now he would roll in his grave!

Evolution was something thougth up or more should I say expanded on by Darwin. As for anything We slowly Adapted. I find it funny yet still that Christians are still asking the same question over and over and over...

I've pondered evolution myself, and this is something I'll share with you all. People who exclude God from their thinking evolved 'backwards' if you will, to apes, snakes, skunks, and other creatures of lower rank. To conclude that dinosaurs sat around thinking of ways to hollow their bones and grow feathers takes a certain type of wilful godlessness that amazes me. Or if they didn't dream up the changes on their own then some sort of 'evolution committee', made up of knowledgeable nucleic acid types came up with the idea and the rest is,as they say, pre-history. It sells a lot of school-books and makes wicked folks a lot less uncomfortable as they await their terrible fates. Well, my perfectly created blogger, hope that helps. Long live the monkeys!!!

Oh my, I think that I have struck a chord with some of you out there. I will agree that we came from one source. That source of course being God. I am no theologist or anything, but I know what I believe. And I believe the truth. You can try to tell me that the world is made by some space explosion but I will tell you that is impossible. This world is too complex to be made by mere chance. That is like taking lumber nails and a hammer and throwing them in the air and having them fall into the shape of a house. Yes, it sounds silly, but so does big bang and evolution. Even science is starting to second guess themselves and look toward a master designer of the universe. Just think about it. Well, I want to make a response to cann1bal. alright, maybe the use of the word monkey was a little too broad. maybe the belief is from apes or fish or whatever. no matter what the evolutionists are saying about it, alot of it contradicts each other. It is also true that different Christian churches cannot agree upon the Biblical facts. but there is one thing that all Christian churches can agree upon, that is that Jesus is the Son of the Living God and that He was sent to this earth to die for us. His teaching is the ONLY truth that we really need to agree upon because through him God made his new promise to man. (read John 3:16 & 17; if you have a Bible, if not, borrow one)

I have never heard of Bill Hicks, even though I am from Houston (the place he got his start). I have never heard his act, seen his act, or anything. I did a little searching on the web about him thanks to you. I could not find anything about his beliefs or morals. But what i have read gives me the impression that he was another of those comics whos material came from the current headlines and watercooler conversations. If you want to take the opinions of a court jester and use them as valid facts to base an arguement upon, then my friend, your ammunition is that of a fool and will not win any major battles. As far as Mr. Hicks and Darwin, right now, both of them are realizing the truth. And I bet that they are learning their lessons the hard way.
