Recommend on other desktop enhancements

Hi All,
I hope that I have posted this in the correct forum. My apologies if not.
I am in need of any suggestions from the experts please.
I am at present using Style XP along side the Desktop Sidebar on my XP OS.
I am thinking of trying something new and was wondering what everyone would suggest for some new gadgets to play with - WindowsBlinds and any other Desktop Enhancements etc.

Any input would be appreciated and thank you for your valuable time.

First thing you do is GET RID OF STYLE XP!

Would probably be a good idea to just go ahead and get Object Desktop. That way you'll be pretty much set.

With OD you'll be able to pretty much do what you want!

LOL. OK, thanks for the input.
I have had Style XP for some time and not known what are the best other options out there.
With OD can I have all the Skins, Logons, Icons that Style XP has ?
I am guessing that seeing as you didn't mention Desktop Sidebar, that this was OK to keep ?
Thanks again Chasbo. Appreciate it.

Windowblinds will give you many more skins than Style Xp, plus you can convert all the Style XP skins to WB skins with SkinStudio, which is included in OD.

Logons use a different format, but you can use either Logon Studio or Style XP for logons, depending on what logons you like. And it's possible to convert most of them from one format to the other.

I'm not sure how icons work with Style XP, but check the Icon Packager library, you may like what you see and all icons are applied easily with Icon Packager.

Plus, Object Desktop has quite a few other programs you should be really happy with too...check it out: WWW Link

Thanks Boss0190, appreciate your input also.
So, I am guessing that once you download OD, all the necessary addons are already there or do I have to download them into OD ? I hope that sounds as I mean it to sound LOL.
I am definately going to look into OD. Thanks for your input.

Once you purchase Object Desktop, you will be emailed your serial numbers and a link to Stardock Central. Install Stardock Central and the list of OD components will be there for you to pick and choose what you want to install.

Also, in the libraries here at WC, at the top of each page you can find links to other free programs not in Object Desktop...such as Logon Studio, Bootskin, Rainlendar, Sysmetrix, etc.

Thanks Bebi Bulma, appreciate the link info.
I have it bookmarked for future reference and I shall take a look at it when I have time to spare. Thank you.
Always cool to have them all in the 1 place, rather than searching the entire big world wide web for them. Great idea and thanks again.
