Windows Blinds is crapping out on me... Help needed.

After I apply a theme, it hangs and everything just craps out

Hello to everyone.

I just installed Windows Blinds after I applied the theme I wanted, it just hanged. At first I thought it would take some time. So I left and came back after 30 minutes. The taskbar is corrupted. Everything is slow. When I right click on the desktop, the menu bar is corrupted and I see random pink shit. Everything just slowed down. I tried it both on my desktop and laptop. I get the same problem. I've been looking for tips regarding to this problem for the past few hours and I couldn't find anything related. So I just posted it here.

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

This is what my desktop looks like after applying that damn theme. My desktop became barely functional. I had to use the system restore function to reverse the damage. This application crapped up my laptop!

one thing u could try, uninstall window blinds, and then download stardock central, input your account information and windowblinds should show up, download and install it from within stardock central

That looks a lot like what happens when you use one of the nefarious cracked versions which are full of malware and virii. Happy trails

@ Lantec

I first got the shareware version. Same thing happens. Everything goes hay-wire. Then I tried cracking it and the same thing happens.

@ Nimbin

I'll try that. Will post results afterwards.

Best thing to do is to email Stardock Support. If you get them your name and address they will send a tech to help you.

Trying to crack applications is your problem.

Your best solution is to remove everything, reformat your PC, and buy the software if you like to use it.

Yep NT will be glad to come over and fix it for ya - right?

I think it best someone that knows more about your computer should be making these type of program changes and why would you want any crack program on it to begin with. Do you fully understand what it is you are doing?

Get your Dad or Mom to take a look at what is going on there with your laptop before it cost you a lot of down time with something bad happening to it.

And get rid of the crack software first off!

Just took the software out. Like I said, BOTH the shareware AND cracked versions are crap up my PC when I try to change themes. Isn't the shareware version supposed to work even with less features?

Nevermind. I just uninstalled the software. I'll just end up using craptacular Windows themes like Fly-A-Kite OSX which I have been using for a while and then uninstalled before installing Windows Blinds.

@ Shelbygt_the_car and Night Train

I don't live in North America. They won't be able to send any form of tech help to me. And given the fact that I'm using using the shareware version, and even had it cracked, it's highly unlikely that they'll help me, whether I live in America or not. And oh, my parents aren't very familiar with the use of computers. So it's absolutely useless asking them.

Anyway, thanks for the help guys!

The shareware version can have any issues resolved that you might encounter, however the 'cracked' version is your own silly mistake.

You will not get any assistance OR sympathy for being quite that foolishly naive as to expect help.

Try it....or buy it....but if you feel a need to 'crack' it....then it [and you] won't be here.
