what do i spend my money on

i have about 30,000 credits, 10,000 metals, 10,000 crystals.

i have not completely taken my second of ten systems.

the ai cannot mount anything to stop me.

the pirates are no longer a threat.

the only structures i need are hangers, phase inhibiters, and broadcast towers.

i have 21 cap ships. and about 50 smaller ships.

Yes, the AI sucks. They're working on it.

the hardest thing to do is sit there and attack the same planet 10- 15 times or more before you can actually capture it.

Just push the culture back with your own broadcast centers.

OK, you can always try waiting for the next build...

That's easy. You steal 5,000 credits from the treasury and go down to one of (most hedonistic planet in your empire's) red light district and take all the boys and girls from the office with you.

Throw the biggest gorram bash your empire has ever seen.

thats not a fleet

make that 10 cap ships and the rest frigats/cruiser, and you will end up having a fleet around 300 ship

ended the game after i went into the third system attacking two planets for over 3 hours and still didn't get the planets.

i left the game running and went to sleep.

obviously (beyond just the AI sucking for now) defense is way way too easy in sins.

the only cruiser that i am using is the kohl.

i was using bombers off the caps but decided to go with fighters. their bombers just go away when you have 30 fighters attacking them

uhm... you could try waiting to colonize until after the planet is no longer under their allegiance, moving your ships in to the next few planets and just leave your recent catch uncolonized, sending ur colony ships in after a bit

The thing is , its hard to know if a plant once bombed and desolate, is under enemy allegiance or not...
