you can for first give us the informations that you can find on the WB application under "systems informations" copy past all the page here.
this informations can be find by right click on the system tray icon of windowblinds.
they look like that:

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.51 (build 97 x86))

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine does not support per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

This is because :

Your computer graphics hardware does not support acceleration of per pixel alpha. WindowBlinds requires this for per pixel alphablended borders as without it performance would be poor. Please see if you can obtain new drivers for your graphics hardware. Recent ATI & NVIDIA boards should support this feature. Onboard graphics tend not to.

There was once I had installed it last year, but my dad uninstalled it, because he didn't like the computer decorated. o.o

The "shareware" version has a time limit. Removing a previous install and re-installing it does not reset the time period. After this time period you will only be able to use the XP OS skins. If you wish to continue with being able to use the great skins and the WindowBlinds program, you will need to purchase it.

HelloKittyKat-

Where did you obtain this copy of WindowBlinds? You should have better results if you remove this copy, reboot and install either the 'trial' version or purchase the full version at - https://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/

The date on this file is 6 months newer than in shareware (see reply 2) and your info shows as an older build. The date for most current enhanced/purchased version for this file is the same as shareware, also 6 months older than your version shows. See reply 10.
