installation help

hey, im not a computer expert or anything, so I dont know whats running on my computer except that its a brand new (less than a month old) laptop running vista. I bought the gold edition, and it started installing normally. When it got to 100% it said i had an error, so i hit ok. Then it said i must reboot to complete installation. Once I rebooted, the game looked installed and had a folder but when i tried to run it the original screen saying "install game" and "readme" came up. Ive installed it 3 times now, and all i can get is the installation menu. please help me

Are you trying to run it from the autoplay on the disc? The disc is only used to install--it isn't needed in the drive to play as with most games--so the launcher on the disc is only designed for installation.
